個人情報の取扱い方針 / Privacy Policy

1. Scope
Applies to personal data obtained/managed through the website and admissions/general inquiries.

2. Data We Collect
Name (Kanji/Roman), email, phone, country/region, Japanese level, preferred intake, intended course/purpose, preferred contact method, agency name (if applicable), free-text messages, IP address, user agent, submission time, language cookie (lang), and documents required for procedures (education/employment/Japanese study & ability, family/sponsor info, etc.).

3. Collection Methods
Web forms, application documents, server logs, cookies.

4. Purposes of Use
Admissions guidance and screening, immigration-related procedures, student record management (attendance/grades), career support, inquiry response, security and maintenance. No use beyond stated purposes. Changes will be notified in accordance with law.

5. Third-Party Provision
No disclosure to third parties except with consent or as required/permitted by law (life, health, property protection; public health; cooperation with authorities).

6. Entrusted Processing
We may engage vendors for email delivery, hosting, or data storage under contracts requiring confidentiality and adequate safeguards.

7. Joint Use
Not currently practiced. Any future joint use will be disclosed here.

8. Security Measures
Access control, logging, TLS encryption, backups, anti-malware, physical safeguards, and staff/vendor training.

9. Retention
Admissions/applications: about 5 years; General inquiries: about 2 years; Server logs: up to 1 year. Data is deleted/disposed of after purpose or retention ends.

10. Cross-Border Handling
If data is processed outside Japan, it will be managed under this policy and applicable laws.

11. Your Rights
You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or cessation of third-party provision. ID verification may be required. Requests may be limited by law.

12. Cookies
Used mainly to store language preference (lang). No advertising cookies. Disabling cookies may affect some functions.

13. Minors
Handled with appropriate involvement of guardians; consent may be required.

14. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be revised in accordance with changes in laws or operations. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
