Admissions information for Osaka New Point Japanese Language School: visa categories, application steps, eligibility, required documents, tuition & fees, payment details, and study options with other visa statuses.
Application Categories (Visa Status)
- Student Visa: Enroll as a full-time student in our Preparatory Course. We offer 2-year and 1 year 6 months tracks. A Graduation Certificate is issued upon completion.
- Other statuses (Family, Work, etc.): Attend the same classes as a non-degree (auditing) student. A Certificate of Completion is issued according to your study period. Please contact us if you wish to study without a Student visa.

Student Visa: Eligibility
- Education: Completed 12+ years of formal education (or an equivalent qualification).
- Japanese study: 150+ hours of study at a Japanese language institution, etc.
- Japanese ability: JLPT N5 or higher, or J-TEST Grade F or equivalent.

- Application form, CV, and Statement of Purpose
- Proof of Japanese ability (JLPT/J-TEST/NAT-TEST pass certificate, or certificate of study hours at a language school)
- Certificate of enrollment (if student) or employment (if employed)
- Certificate of graduation from the last school attended
- Academic transcript from the last school attended
- Academic credentials verification (original)
- Family register & proof of relationship with financial sponsor (originals)
- Passport copy (if available)
- 8 ID photos (4cm × 3cm; taken within the last 3 months; white background)

Other Visa Statuses
If you wish to study without a Student visa, you may attend classes as a non-degree (auditing) student. A Certificate of Completion will be issued according to your period of study. Requirements vary by status—please contact us.
